I find Mariners comments (around the 4 minute mark) in the CCL Santos post game presser.

"how easy it is to move the ball like Santos"
"how simple it is to play high level football"

....and that all it takes is years and years of practise.


Well guess what, Winter was giving us a very good foundation to build that practise on. Our passing game was getting considerably better, we were playing attractive football and making steps in the right direction. We had an academy that was built around that style of play to feed into in the future.

Anyone with any knowledge of football knew it was going to take a while.

BUT, we rode him out of town because we had a shit start to the season and we are all impatient bastards who wanted glory right away.

Well, it's put us back to square one in my opinion. Again we find ourselves with no direction, no long term plan.


So disappointing.

Ryan Johnson and Dicoy Williams have been called up to the Jamaican national team for their upcoming WCQ on Sep 7 + 11. They will both most likely miss TFC's Sep. 12 game against Chicago.
