They need to rename and move this team.

Where is this supposed to be? I heard rumbles a while back that they were looking at a east LA location to try and tap a different segment of fans from Carson. Might be a decent move considering traffic in the region is completely insufferable.
Renaming the team should be a must-do as well. As someone pointed out, in their attempt to pander to Mexican fans, they actually cut off all the ex-pats who aren't Chivas fans, leaving them with a pretty small group of potential customers.
they are linked to the mexican side, a name change just isn't in the cards i don't think.
p.s. OH LOOK ITS A ROOF.

Two teams in LA is fine as long as they aren't near Carson. Furthermore, a rebrand is 100% required. They alienate way too many Mexican fans by having the Chivas moniker.

Thats why I think they should try to get the rights to the name LA Aztec from the old NASL. Its a name that all Mexican fans can agree on.

Agreed.
I also think that if they did this, the team would go from being an eyesore to a strong franchise. Pretty big market in SoCal to exploit.

Its a good idea but it won't happen. Club America owned LA Aztecs, so I doubt the Chivas would do that. Also, the Aztecs doesn't carry a lot of weight with it. Chivas USA has had better attendance than the Aztecs ever had. In my opinion, why not just call the team Club Deportivo LA.
