Ben's past aside, Rycroft's piece sang to my heart. What a difference it makes to read something from a real CMNT fan's perspective. A perspective that can only come from years of suffering and sitting in the stands like the rest of us.

Oh, and to those who contributed to making the WCQ game atmosphere what it was - I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Jonathan de Guzman likes himself — a lot.

“I know that I could be a very big impact on the Canadian national team,” he told The Score before saying he still hopes to play for the Netherlands. “If (I) did play for the Canadian national team it would be a lot stronger than now.
