I'm curious to see if we will hear anything from upper management about the state of TFC and Winter's future with the club? Maybe a statement from Klinsmann? You would think they would want to calm down some of us before we jump ship. I know it would just be blowing smoke up our butts but at least make an effort to reassure us of something.

^They're banking on tomorrows match.

Update: Canada Tix still on sale this week but there will be a $10 surcharge for expressmail. Still time to be a part of history!!!

They will not make a public statement until a decision is made one way or another. They'll either say nothing or come out with the standard line about supporting the team management and their vision - which is typically a death knell for the coach.

I honestly believe that win or lose tomorrow, Winter is gone on Thursday. The week and half break is the perfect time to make the transition.

His arm was in a sling post match, I fear it might be seperated. He is not at practice today either.

Danny K on his own in practice means he is likely out barring some miracle.

I guess they could give him till then, but I think the damage has been done with both the fans and his players. Why wait?

News from TFC camp usually are out after Tuesday and Thursday/Friday practice.

Expect players interviews later today on TFC TV.

From reporters and TFC staff on the Tweeter:

Frings and Danny K will be game time decisions

Soolsma likely

Dunfield, De Guz, Kocic and Johnson refuse to talk to the press

Sun's Kurt Larson 'would be surprised if Soolsma starts' and thinks Frings and Danny are out and that TFC is just fucking with IMFC by saying they might.

Danny did not train with the team, but Soolsma did. Frings not there at all.

Larson is also reporting that there will be a new 'friendly' during the layoff. He didn't specify if it was just a training friendly, perhaps with a CSL team or an actual friendly nor did he mention which lay off. i.e. the one starting in a few days or the 19 day layoff at the end of May. I am trying to get this clarified. It's gotta be a training friendly on such short notice.

But either way, a friendly of any kind against any team is just asking for injury trouble in my opinion.

Good news, it means it isn't a worst-case scenario.

MLSE will be selling tickets to this friendly.

Turns out it is a practice friendly, probably against a CSL team (just me guessing on the CSL bit). So tickets are doubtful.
