Even more disappointment was in store for those who went to the Habs/Leafs game afterwards to see the Leafs crushed 4-1.

Anyone else think Larson's "mocking" story was sort of pathetic? Montreal fans were practically gracious compared to some MLS responses, including ours.

Actually, that result bodes well for the future of the Leafs. A lottery pick is far more important than a meaningless victory in the final game of the schedule.

True. It was actually the best result for both teams in that regard. The Habs were already at the bottom, so winning just helped them feel good, and the Leafs needed to lose to get a top pick. Still doesn't mean that it isn't hard for those who went to both games to see their home teams lose twice in a day.

You know things are bad when a TML conversation picks up fast.

Imho I'd rather see an article with the title of

Terry-ble dunfield.
