From where I was sitting it looked like the ref played the advantage. This video does make it seem more questionable. I still haven't seen it from the broadcast perspective.

Yeah terrible. But what do you expect? Although I'd be inclined to say CONCACAF gives less of a shit about LA going far than MLS does.

It's the only angle you can really see it from, though, so I'm not surprised it wasn't called.

I watched that on my PVR many times when I got home. It was a foul everyday of every week. It wasn't called because of where it was.

If that was in the middle of the field, even that useless ref would have called it.

Interesting. He officiated the 2nd leg of the 2011 CONCACAF Champions League Finals, Monterrey 1 vs RSL 0 at Rio Tinto Stadium.

I watched most of that game. I can't recall anything good or bad about the ref. Does anyone else remember more about his performance?

This guy is the new Benito Arcuntia
