TFC will be doing a high definition image that will capture the Rogers Centre in its entirety, and fans, it is a 360 degree pic that everyone in the stadium will be in. It has been done before and is pretty cool, here is the one they did at a Michigan football game at the big house.

The one downfall of a thing like this is if you have called in sick or something, caught at the game on camera lol

Awesome concept. I wonder at what point will the photo be taken? Players entering the pitch, national anthem, first kick, etc...

^ I'm guessing just before kick-off. They need to position the camera in the middle of the pitch. Well, unless they plan to suspend it or something.

Fan cam will be positioned midfield on the sidelines.

They had this at Wembley when I went home for the FA Cup Final last year! Mum found us - pretty cool!

Couldn't identify at which point it was taken though - I wasn't looking very happy lol.

There is a link in the page that says to attach an email. I am hoping they will send a message out to when they are about to take the photo. I will make sure to comb my hair. :)

Cashcleaner is spot on, it was taken a bit before kick off. A guy with a fancy looking camera at the centre of the pitch took a series of photos.

Well hopefully everyone was in their seats...which is highly doubtful. Too bad they couldn't have it suspended over the field during play...the perfect picture would have been after Silva scored his goal....the place was insane.

To bad they didn't take it before the 2nd half when the dome was full. The stadium was nearly empty before kickoff. Hopefully I was in my seat when they took the pic....

They chose a terrible time to take the picture. Atmosphere was a it's worst. I was personally counting the seconds to half-time to avoid an early comeback and so I could move to a different seat where I wouldn't be hurting the sensitivity of 20 Beckham-loving teenage girls when calling him a prick.

Yeah, it looks like it was right after their first goal, which totally deflated the atmosphere.

So I tagged myself on the pic and just because I was a little bored, I decided to see who was drinking out of a green beer can (assuming it's a Carlsberg) near the corner flag where one was thrown at Beckham. Obviously this is no real way of identifying the culprit, but it makes for a fun game of "Who did it?" with my 6 year old son by looking at people's faces - we found a lot of suspects! I did see one green Carlsberg can by the way, but the face was obscured....Newman!!!

The 500-level was pretty empty at the beginning of the game, so they had to wait a while so most people were in their seats (and before they started leaving again). Our group looks good at least, very into the game!

Doing it right after a TFC goal wouldn't work well. What with the streamers, people standing/bouncing/hugging/high-fiving, you wouldn't be able to see half the people.

Strange.....

The score board shows the time as 39:30, but I am not in my seat. The only time I wasn't actually in my seat during the game was the first 2 minutes of the 2nd half....

The camera was like 10 friggin feet away from me, but I am looking to the right for some reason, as are many people in the area, so only half of my face is visible.

Good stuff. Even though the timing of the pic meant I had a serious face on. But it was probably the best time to take it.

I was near the corner where Beckham was at the end and there were actually two cans that were thrown. A guy near me threw what looked to me like a piece of pizza, but I don't think it made it anywhere near the pitch. It's really easy for people do things like that when they can just fall back and blend into the crowd. No one can hold them individually accountable.

oh yeah - pretty good profile of me (considering the subject material).

I've been using this to peek into hotel rooms and private boxes - trying to find some shenanigans... someone's gonna get busted for something.

I'd imagine that the idiot who threw the can will tag themselves as well.

Combine this with security footage and they'll nab the culprit for sure !

Some interesting things to note:

-The ref has been tagged as 'Corrupt Ref' :D

-Around section 123/124 there is a group of folks all wearing bright clothing (I thought there was some kind of dispute the first time I saw that area)

-It seems the large Toronto FC banner that made its way across the west, or is it east stand?, was tampered with to perhaps make more ppl visible?

-At one point, someone tagged Stefan Frei as "Dan". That has now been removed

Anyone else see anything interesting?
