I hate that they call this a Clasico.

What's classic about it?

1-0 Chivas, Razov just scored a beauty from outside the top of the box. Looped it around the GK. 16th min.

32nd minute. Jazic landed akwardly, it doesn't look good. Something with his knee/hip.

That looks painful, I don't think he will be in the national team plans (whether he was or not) anytime soon. He is getting stretchered off by the EMT.

"coming up at half-time, Wizards/red bulls highlights"

bit of an oxymoron

By a hair... for once the side official gets it right :D

I remember when a similar play happened to us last year, Brennan crossed it from the line, I was 10 yards away and saw it stayed in, yet the official on the opposite side of the field said it went out....

noochie

flares and firecrackers from the Chivas fans... cool!

werewolf

If Ruiz is going to come here and miss those sitters, we can just sign Lombardo back and save the salary cap space.

noochie

Ruiz shoulda chipped that sucker.

Seriously...think about other Clasicos:

Chivas vs. America (Mexico)
Boca Jrs vs. River Plate (Argentina)
Real Madrid vs. Barcelona - The true Gran Clasico (because "Super Grande" is sort of like saying "Extra Large" instead of Grand)

Fuck the MLS marketing douchebags and their naming of this game that has no right to be a regular Clasico, never mind "Super" or "Grande"

Idiots.

They gotta try something to add hype! Maybe they should change the name to battle of the bitches?

Is that chai or coffee? Is there an option for whip cream and chocolate sprinkles?

Not the least bit surprising with this league (and yes, I'm on one of my "MLS is fucking shit" soap boxes... it'll pass in a few hours).

We need more rivalries like this in the league and that's why I support having a 2nd team in New York. A cross-town rivalry between a team in Jersey and a team in Queen's/Brooklyn/Bronx would actually help the Shite Bulls.

Don't you mean we need a Canadian rivalry?

Rivalry. Derby.

I can live with that.

Super Grande Clasico? Gimme a break.
