it was only a single resident objecting to it being built, so there was about 18,000 reasons why it was going to get passed. good for them though, hopefully they can see somewhat of the same revival that KC did.

The TFC match against the Chicago Fire set for Saturday July 21, has moved to Wednesday September 12, 2012 at 7:00 P.M.

This game is on TSN2. Damn you TSN. Lose a summer game because of stupid TV.

This really screws TFC as Canada plays on the 11th, so no De Guz, Dunfield, etc...

Me thinks this means another useless international friendly, hopefully for Chicago.

Got to be to accomodate a Chicago friendly. This puts us at a severe disadvantage at a late season match. I hope the FO at least got something for the consideration.

why chicago? tfc now have a big "euro mega club marketing exercise friendly" sized gap in their schedule as well.

and the bluejays are away that weekend. skydome available?

do chicago have lots of internationals?

Even without knowing that it's tfc who caused this, I'm getting all pissed about it.

In the world of lulz, Celtic supporters in Seattle are encouraged to cheer against Sounders in their game vs Santos Laguna

^ I guess Sounders fans may be just a tiny bit louder.

Even if it means they have to turn up their amp a bit.

Yup, down to one weekend game in July, one in August. Good for those who go away on the weekends in the summer, I guess.

It's an assumption based on Chicago tends to pursue summer friendlies, the summer friendlies are getting scheduled right now and past statements from our FO that they are not planning on scheduling any friendlies.

Chicago has a few internationals, only one US player who might be called up -Sean Johnson as 3rd goalkeeper. Logan Pause is in the US pool, not likely to get called up. Marco Pappa could be called up for Guatemala, Gonzalo Segares for Costa Rica and Rafael Robayo for Colombia. Orr Barouch is an Israeli international on their U21 team.

I got the impression at last years townhalls that they're getting keen on them again if they think the fans will take it.

They took the one year off when they knew everyone was pissed and they thought they should play nice, wouldn't surprise me if they get right back into it now. especially with the skydome comfortably under the same corporate umbrella.

even if it is for Chicago's sake, doesn't sound good for us, we'll lose de guzman, probably williams and Johnson as well, then cann, morgan and stinson are possibilities as well. Would love to see what we'd get for agreeing with that. allocation money?

ah TFC, you just can't quite get it right can you?

I'm about 90% behind it. My concern is no CF on the bench - it lacks goals + a holdup target man when we sub out Koevs.

The big X factor in the starting 11 is how the two new CB's adapt to the MLS.

Completely agree. The CB situation in particular I feel will determine if TFC makes the playoffs.

If someone has to get nap is Johnston and Lambe get right side,Dany is truly #9 a target man very important in system we play.4-3-3 point to the back.
