If that SSG wants to meet 'a ripped guy who drives a Cadillac CTS V Coupe' then she should consider getting herself a gym membership or at least laying off the Mallomars.

Sorry if I missed this mention but looks like there will be another rugby match at BMO this summer - Canada v Italy, June 15, 2012. Canada playing USA in Kingston June 9, & vs Georgia in Burnaby BC June 23.

well I think they blew through the Waiting List. I finally was getting calls/emails constantly this year. I might have bought them if I didn't work for a company that has 6 tix already. I like the direction we seemed to be headed finally, so as soon as we can finally put a nail in the coffin of the scottish/english inspired play of TFC (which we seem to be moving towards) I'll be happy!!!!

I've been suspicious about the wait list from the early days (as have many others).

I didn't doubt the raw numbers, it's really more a question of where those people are willing to buy. I'd bet that a large portion of those that went on it in the first year or two wanted supporters end only to "join the party". After that, I bet a bunch more were only interested in the cheap seats.

I put myself on the wait list for my section (light grey) in year 1 as I wanted to buy an extra couple of tickets for a friend in my section. I have never once received a call about tickets there, despite being a fairly early STH.

simple fix,
expand supporters section to include the north end

I think a lot of people are "voting with their wallets". It's an easy decision considering how easy game day tickets are to come by (at cost). Of course winning can change all that, but we're not there yet.

^ That's a shame, one hopes that the matches you do attend you have the same enthusiasm to TFC as you had earlier, but understand and respect your thoughts.

I'm kinda getting pissed about this season ticket thing now. I'm a loyal fan. I've bought partial packs for years. Even bought their damn ransom packs -- was forced to buy Marlie tickets I didn't want and forced my friends and family to go to games they didn't want to go to. Here I am ready and willing to buy my TFC partial pack and nope they're still out trying to sell season tickets to people who don't want the tickets. What about the loyal fan who's been here year after year buying tickets but who for many reason just can't buy a full seaon of tickets? Do they want my money or not?

I think the wait list was legit, in as much as there was a large number of emails/names 'signed up' for the chance to become a SSH.

The missing part of the equation was the % on that list that were actually converted into sales. It's obvious that was an extremely low percentage - due to pricing, team performance, economy, whatever.

My good friend was on the list for Leafs seasons for a decade or so, but when he got the call asking for $90k a year his enthusiasm dropped just a touch. :)
