Just wondering with all the soccer being played this year and with a lot of it involving TFC and Canada:

TFC Champions League
TFC Voyageurs Cup 2012
TFC Season 6
CMNT WCQ
2012 Olympic Soccer
Euro 2012

Is it possible to have too much soccer this year? Is it ever too much?

Too much footy? No.

Too much booze watching footy? Very distinct possibility! :drinking:

:D

Someone who is really bored (and I know several of you fit into this category) should put together a list of all of the possible footy matches to be seen at either BMO or Skydome this summer. It's got to be a fairly long list now and will only grow as the internation friendlies are announced (fingers crossed for Liverpool).

My wallet already aches...

Holy shit.

We'd be in for a rough 2013... unless Winter brought in a new team.

I wonder a lititle if the US game will have a bit of a negative effect on the Cuba game 9 days later in terms of attendence. For the casual sports fan if given the choice US is far more attractive , has more of a glamour big event feel to it which a lot of Toronto likes.

Every coin has two sides. I think this USA friendly will serve as the best possible advert for the national team. Barring a wrong sided blowout we should see peeps at least knowing about the WCQ round happening a week after. At most we'll get peeps liking the friendly and coming out to see their nations side face weaker opponents.

To start discussing "soccer overload" on a board on which people talk about footy, 12 months a year, seven days a week, almost 24/7 is craziness.
