Only 25, I'm glad to see DeJong back and hope to see him live this summer.

it's too bad that De Jong's club is currently sitting in the relegation zone. Hopefully he can help them get out of there

I'm excited as well. I am optimistic that our backline will finally NOT be our main weakness.

these defensive signings including Ecks are the best news we've had since they signed AW.

I am very very happy.

We have Canadian Soccer News section?

I'd put it in there if we had a news area. I guess I could have started an individual thread in the Canadian soccer section.:noidea:

If it was MLS news it would certainly belong here. I have a lot of respect for Edmonton, their "Canadian first" policy, and the fact that a D2 team did so well in their first year, developing several players for Canadian international duty.

FC Edmonton is a mess, dude. They're infrastructure was so poorly set up that they've already flushed millions. And two of the three they "developed" were already in the national pool. Saiko was a youth player at Middlesborough for three years ,or something.

Their intentions are good, execution is disastrously off.
