Noticed this in the Evan James article...

The Impact also announced a four-year agreement to play early-season games indoors at Olympic Stadium. The deal calls for five regular-season home games at the Big O this year, plus a Nutrilite Canadian Championship contest and at least two or three games a season for the following three years, including the team’s home openers.

Looks like for the next four springs we will have a big road game to go to!

let's just hope TFC don't get ideas about regular games at skydome from this.

Well, we should wait and see what the atmosphere is like at Rogers Centre prior to making this call. If it is intense and jammed with screaming TFC fans, then perhaps playing a game or two a year wouldn't be a bad thing. Although, I would object to 4 or 5 games per year. That would be nonsense.

The only reason to not have the game at BMO is cold weather. Other than that there is no excuse.

Call it stupid, but i think there should at least be an annual game played at the Rogers Centre against the Impact. Considering the amount of games we will consistently play against them. (5 for this year, annual min. 3) I think one game away from BMO wont hurt, especially with the expectancy that comes with being allocated 2,000 tickets for the Big Owe, what happens when we shift to 5,000 how much do you really think TFC could give to Montreal fans at BMO for a game against our City Rivals in everything.
