no player should ever do what he did, it is just not part of the game, but as stated because it was in a US Open match the MLS really can not do anything about it, but in my mind the MLS should work towards where if you do something that is not good for the game while playing for a league team regardless of what type of game it is it you can be disiplined.

I completely agree. At the end of the day these players represent the league, not just their team.
