For many fans though the best news is that so many of the tickets are being purchased by people who actually care about the club. :thumbsup: There still remains the legitimate fear that large sections of Rogers Centre will be filled with Beckham watchers :hump:which would in many ways be a waste of such a special occasion.

With the party-like atmosphere, i expect it to be a long night for Becks. Even a casual will enjoy the "wanker" chant or "who are ya?" when he steps up for a set piece.

Luster? Not many football fans will be there for Becks outside of supporters of his past foreign club. The rest are sports fans or not even that who have heard of him and are Becks-Curious.

Kurt Larson will be speaking to Paul Mariner this afternoon in Kansas City (MLS Draft Location). Can someone ask throw twitter if Adrian Cann and Dicoy Williams have signed with TFC for this season. Just looking for conformation. I ask this because I don't have twitter.

The team has an option on Cann so new contract is required, just TFC exercising the option. An article on Dicoy in a Jamaican paper stated that he had been re-signed.

Either way, at the pancake breakfast, when I asked Aron about Cann and Dicoy, he answered that Cann might be ready for spring training but Dicoy won't be. His answer conveyed clearly that both players are part of the club.
