Villa closing on Keane (http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/7419851/)
Robbie Keane has begun training with Aston Villa and is expected to finalise a return to the Premier League on a short-term loan in the next 24 hours.

so.. . . will Robbie be leading the line vs TFC?
KEane, Beckham and Landycakes. . . .

As defending champs, we should have gotten Edmonton...

The same source informed MLSsoccer.com that the final will be played over one match, unlike last season’s two-leg format which saw the Whitecaps lose to Toronto 3-2 on aggregate.

Interesting to see how this works for home field. Highest seed?

Not if you count D2 standings. Edmonton was ahead of Montreal in the NASL last year.

Game-Set-Oldtimer...!!! That makes sense...

Even though Montreal will be a different squad being promoted...

Damnit, should've checked google translate instead of going by my shaky spanish. well hopefully it's good news, the team's just assembling here and then shipping to florida right? it'd only be a few weeks in toronto for him....

3 games in montreal
2 games in toronto

they must start taking notes on how to do security for these games, cause montreal fans dont like losing to toronto, and there might be a whole lot of that going on

Does anyone know/hear the away ticket allocation for the games at the big oww

I agree, I hope it's good news. With the ! after the tweet he sounds excited -- so hopefully it's good news, & things are working out with signing him or extending the loan!

Just wanted to point out amid the craziness of CCL ticket buying today, that we're just two weeks away from the start of pre-season training!
