Keep it red if it doesn't clash with the other team fffs

It's marketing dude. If they did that, they'd never sell any greys.

I don't particularly care...I just want a win.

And I believe the jerseys that the OP was originally referring to are the "warm ups" which are red. The practice kits are indeed blue.

I had a friend who was swearing up and down that it was the new "game jersey"...I love telling him "I told you so"...I am a jerk that way.

They have a red one for pre-game warm ups, a red one for games, grey for games, blue for training sessions and a white one for post game exercise sessions

I think it has something to do with the broadcast. Believe it or not they still have to keep in mind people with black and white tv! Both red and blue would show up the same shade of grey. With grey and blue at least one is lighter than the other.

I'm surprised to hear such remarks about the grey away kits. I find quite a few people are wearing them to BMO for home matches, at least more than I would expect. Personally, I don't mind the grey away tops all that much, but I do think white would be a better choice instead of light grey. With white you have a greater contrast for the BMO logo, TFC crest, and adidas stripes and other bits of trim.

As for the new red warm-up to: I think it's WAYYYYY better than the actual playing jersey we have. The team crest is embroidered, FFS.

still shots of set kicks like this are hilarious.

i'd rather not see Riise scoring. unless it's an OG. hahaha

actually they were in grey because they are travelling on to Chicago, and there is also a reserve game there. Chicago wears red, so we had to travel with grey for the full 28. Rather than travel with every single piece of clothing we have, we opted to wear grey in Vancouver.

I guess the truth is always a little more dull then the theories that keep these threads going for 5 or 6 pages.....

Thanks a lot, now what will I read.

I like the grey away jersey ... but I don't like the red shorts with it.

They should use the dark grey training shorts with the away kit.

Any thoughts of an all-grey kit...???

I really like the grey jersey, but I'm not a huge fan of how it looks with the red shorts and socks...

Much like how we switched to the all-red home kit last season - the straight one colour looks better in my opinion...

Just wondering...

You should wear that instead of one of the six hundred Manchester United shirts you own, when you come to the next match :D:D:D

Just a thought.
