How many home jerseys have we had? I'm pretty sure I have the ones from 2008 and 2010 and about to buy the 2011 one.

Have we had a new home jersey every year?

Plus don't forget the bright green, yellow, and black goalkeeper jerseys that were available at BMO Field last year. Along with in 2010 I believe they had a goalkeeper jersey just without the Toronto FC Patch.

I don't think i'm missing anything..

I believe they released a new home jersey every two years.

7 on forwards, 19 on keepers (plus they wore the original red and original gray once each in net, thus making it 21 different keeper jerseys)

I was just counting MLS, NCC, and CCL matches (the typical definition of "in all competitions"). Not training, friendlies or pre-season friendlies.

Well, goalkeepers tend to have various colours, since they cannot clash with the opposition or the referee, and most of Toronto's kits are keepers shirts.

They only have worn 1 pink style on 2 occasions (Jun 24/09 & Oct 10/09 - each had the date and opponent written on the right breast of the jersey).

The club DID sell an earlier version of the pink jersey, but it was just for sale marketed toward female fans. They also sold a white version of this one, as well (never worn, perhaps used for training?) They were both onore style jerseys, the type they wore the first two seasons.

Yes, it was exactly like the original onore red from 07/08, only pink. It was never worn by the club, and sold at the souvenir stands.

You don't have to buy one every year. I'd like Toronto to have a new kit every year, it increases the possibility that they might make one I like sooner rather than later.

Aren't those suppose to be two separate kits? As in we'll have a new home kit and a third kit (supporters). Does anyone know for sure?

Yeah and some people think they should have a new shirt every 35 years. It only pisses people off if they want to always match the team every year. I think there's more people in NA that like to have a different one from the person next to them. I know I don't mind old jerseys to date myself.

i didn't like our first year, i don't like this years (although it has grown on me).
i like my collared one we wore we wore last year and the year before that, i bought the first one to keep as a collectible (it was our first jersey!) and the pink breast cancer one for my girlfriend.

so where im going with this is.. who cares?
if they want to change it every year, it may be a cash grab but nothing says you have to buy it. it also keeps some designs from going stale (see: every league but ours), but you also run the risk of getting stuck with a shitty kit for two years.
