"It's been a great year. I'm definitely going to miss Toronto....Best of luck to my boys at TFC next year!

@mattgoald: All the TO love is much appreciated. Best fans and look forward to seeing the first playoff season..yall deserve it. Much love #TFC

Shame to see them go, especially Omphroy as he brought some good potential. Looks like the wheel of transfer season has already start to spun.

He was the first Toronto FC player I ever talked to, gave me my first interview and the first piece of writing I was truly proud to have published.

Thank you Demitrius Omphroy, and good luck wherever you may end up!

Good luck to these guys, they seemed like stand-up professionals trying to make it in MLS.

I get a very strong feeling we'll be trading our draft picks and these spots are going to be occupied by more academy kids.

or just passing on our picks...this will happen more and more as academies develop (or certain teams academies develop faster than others)

I get the same feeling. With the emphasis in training the kids in a particular method and approach to the game, graduates of that program will be likely be preferred over those who have don't have that background. If we can get 1 or 2 new players per year that way, that would be huge. Question is, will there be that level of roster-quality output from the academy?
