So, my wife is due with our first child on July 26th. She could actually "pop" at anytime now.
We are currently embroiled in "in depth" negotiations about my idea of adding a second middle name, as homage to a Toronto FC player.
The conversation went something like this:

We were discussing the idea of a second middle name for the baby, one which could remain silent yet would be an enduring tribute to the love I have for all that is Toronto FC.
See below, a few names which I would consider having. It's not a big deal to add a second name (that it wouldn't even really use)and would be a fun story for the kid, when it suits up for it's first International game for Canada

Commentator:
Well Jim, in todays lineup is Will H***** , picking up his first International Cap for Canada after some sublime displays for Toronto FC of the MLS. Interesting fact Jim, not many people know this but Will's second middle name is (insert cool TFC name here) which is was given by his father Simon, a devout TFC fan and season ticket holder since day 1....."

here are some ideas :)

William Thomas Ricketts H*****
William Thomas Eduuuuuuuu H*****
William Thomas Robinson H***** (I actually like this one)
William Thomas Jimmy B H*****
William Thomas Andy Welsh for England H*****
William Thomas Whoooa...your sh** ....ahhh....H*****

And Finally
William Thomas Mo H*****

I think it would be kinda cool......
I actually do like the Robinson one, what do you think?

I think the Robinson one flows the best ( plus he's a mid  ).

Robinson. Or even Brennan (not Jimmy B, reminds me of Come back to the five & dime Jimmy Dean).

Robinson fits best, as William Thomas is a good Welsh name.

The Robinson one could be interesting. If he does become a footballer and decides to go with the Brazilian naming convention he could be Will Robinson. On top of his possible nom de guerre he could have the nickname Danger as in Danger Will Robinson.

Hopefully in such a case he wouldn't be in danger as much as causing it.

I never watched the campy 60's version of that show, but when they made the movie I had a huge crush on Lacey Chabert in that form-fitting suit.

gotta say, I have 2 middle names and not too many people do. I like either Robinson or Carver. Congrats, by the way!

I like Brennan but don't listen to me - I made my kid's middle name Buster after my beloved (and now departed) dog.

Wifey says to stay away from Ricketts - it's the name of a disease (no disrespect to Rohan!).

Hannah "Landycakes" H***** ;)

Nuts to Hannah, name her Landon. First of all I actually think it can work for a girl, secondly if it became popular enough it could change Landon to a girls name and would make it even funner to rip on Landycakes.

And if it's a girl, Hannah Danielle, of course.

Holy shit, I just typed that then deleted it!

without reading all of the thread, it seems like you're trying to figure out which TFC player is your child's biological father.

I think its a great name - and 'Brennan' flows with William Thomas...

Just my two cents...

Either way, best wishes to you and your wife as the big day approaches...

IMO Ricketts flows better. William Thomas already flows well but then Robinson slows it down with its 3 syllables.

Ricketts!

I cant even commit to a name for the back of my jersey, nevermind naming my kid after a current Toronto player.

Id got with Robinson though. It actually sounds really good.

I'd go with Robinson. Carl Robinson doesn't seem to get much attention, so this would pay honour to him.

Image your kid coming to school saying:
"Hi, I'm William Thomas Andy Welsh for England H***** " lol

Why name your kid like everybody else?
William Thomas?

Why not Lombardo Welsh Buddle H*****?
or Brennan Robinson H*****?

Otherwise he'll end up being called Bill or Willy like 30 othr kids in his school classroom (unless the William Thomas thing is a family tradition or something like that).

Is your last name Harmse?
