It's actually relatively amusing, better than a useless little book

Roger Levesque is awesome, he did an interview with Extratime Radio [anyone else listen to that?] that had me laughing my ass off. I wish we had someone with that much character on our squad, maybe those Off the Pitch interviews wouldn't be as terrible.

Andi Petrillo: So! Any exciting stories from TFC road trips to Central America?
TFC Player: No.

Andi: Do you have any quirky pre-game rituals?
TFC Player: Not really. No.

And so on...

Fuck that. I still want to know Roger's favourite colour.

Want to know what's lame (and sad at the same time) Garber was in CBus today to help promote the Crews 10,000 STH or Bust promotion. When you need The Don to help in ticket promotions...somethings wrong.

I kinda like it.

I think it's good.

And it's also silly.

And when you are doing as well as Seattle, you can afford to be silly.

LOL @ the crew:

Goal 10K Garber joined Crew president-general manager Mark McCullers, Columbus Mayor Michael C. Coleman and Crew players in launching the “Goal 10K” initiative to nearly double the season-ticket base to 10,000 for the 2012 season. The Crew are last in average attendance this year at 11,405 per game.

they want to double their season tickets to 10k, when they only average 11k in total. yeah.. that's happening.

Maybe they should look at their ticket prices especially for small town in a blue collar state. For such a great team, their FO screwed over their fans.

what are you talking about useless!! You don't find the half finished book useful? I mean...you can get inspired by the teams new approach and philosophy and then go and start writing a book of poems or TFC chants, or take notes on stuff, or...you can have a good hearty supply of filters (wink wink). Made me want to renew...

Epic fail?

I'd say it's waaaaaaaaay better than a random red notebook with blank pages (to outline our strategy, of course) followed by a cynical grab at your wallet. At least the Sounders do you the courtesy of entertaining you a little before they fuck you.

They're taking a light-hearted approach...and it gets tired to see people call inocuous jokes lame. Get a sense of humour.

I like it. good, light hearted, not taking itself too seriously. the acting's bad, but it's better than iro and dunfield's acting in that risk ccl promo, and I really don't think it'seant to be perfectly slick and serious.

It's lame, but that's kind of the point. I like it.

Certainly better than stale-ass emails about Marlies packs, "upgrades" to waiting lists, and seat renewals.

I agree. Everything doesn't always have to be so serious all the time, especially sports. Seattle's marketing team seem to be genuinely interested in getting people talking about the team - always a good thing for any club.
