Second anniversary of the legend's retirement. May his contribution to the team never be forgotten.

This may just be my perception, but his whole retirement seemed like such a sham. To think that management made him quit to make way for Ali FREKAING Gerba when in reality Dichio would have been a better option than most of the other strikers we carted out since. What a joke.
I'm glad that at least he's involved with the team and still lives in the city. I hope he's a part of Toronto FC for many many more years.

Does DD travel with the Academy? I would love to shake his hand this weekend while they are in Windsor and say thank you.

Danny was a class act and heart all the way. He will continue to be a role model for up-and-coming players in our Academy.

He should have seen out his final season and had a proper farewell from/to the fans. He was owed a proper goodbye game, which we never had. I actually feel robbed by MoJo over this, and Dichio should have played at LEAST one more game rather than quietly disappearing :(

He did get a proper farewell from the fans anyways. I hear what you are saying though.

Come out to the Academy games if you want to show appreciation. He loves our support and the Dichio24 is hard to ignore in an otherwise empty stadium.
EDIT: their next home game is at Lamport on Sep/16.

Not so good this year. Check the CSL website for standings. They are a little too much like the big team.

they're doing okay with what they've got. it's a rebuild year really. lots of 16 and 17 year olds playing for the senior squad this year. they'll come along
