Looks like Winter's 3-4-3 is now the MLS standard!

Nice. He came up big after that esteli game blunder. It was a fluke mistake.

Kocic deserves the honor. Good for him.

I can't believe Julius James still survives in this league. The guy is just a terrible old-school north american footballer that makes the ball looks square whenever he touches it and is a step behind thinking the game as a defender.

Re: Kocic

Without bumping specific threads or naming posters, it just goes to show that sometimes a little patience pays off. Glad Winter can assess talent better than some in the game thread vs Real Estelli:

"No wonder Kocic is the backup, just brutal!"

"Kocic shouldn't even be the backup to a back up."

"I can't believe we are wasting an International spot on him."

Fortunately, there were many acknowledging the mistake but not willing to throw the player out of town at this point. While I said I wouldn't name posters, Jazzy's post was a fitting way to end that R.E Post Game Thread:

"We gather around Kocic and grow as a team....This will strengthen us"

Congrats Milos on your honours this past week.

Watching him play in the CSL last year, and during the Arabe Unido game in Panama, and I wasn't impressed.

However, after watching him play the 2nd game against Real Esteli, and in particular last week against RSL, and I'm going to revise my estimation of him.

A well deserved honour this week.

defensive tactics and Chad Marshall makes crap players look good... although he did score a goal for Columbus last weekend

for people that missed out on DC vs Vancouver game, DeRo missed couple of easy ones but boy he made Vancouver look stupid... (no, I'm not on the 'bring DeRo' back wagon)
