sweet. I just got my tickets

The Fire main number was out and TFC couldn't get a hold of them. Hope you guys had an easier time than me.

If you dont mind me asking where you guys staying?

This is going to be my first road game any advice?

Most of the guys are staying at the 4 points Sheraton but its booked up. We are at the Inn of Chicago. Search hotels on Magnificent Mile.

Hey Guys - a couple of questions.

1) Is everyone getting tickets in the away section?

2) Is there a "group rate" at Inn of Chicago for RPB?

Thanks!

1) That is usually how it works

2) there was a group rate at a chicago hotel a few weeks ago

this information is available in the away trips section in the members area

I have a credit with the Chicago Fire(long story). If there is anyone who still needs tickets and doesn't mind buying tickets for the game from me so I can get my money back finally(long story again), it would be appreciated!!

As it happens, I'm going to be in Chicago too. Is there a bar or pub or anything that everyone goes to before the game? If it's a RPB members only thing then that's cool however I will keep searching!

Westin and Travelodge are pretty good options to. We booked Inn of Chicago as it was one of the cheaper options that looked reasonable. There is no RPB group rate there. I think it was $532 for 3 nights all in. We might pony up more dough to stay at the Westin though.

We are hitting the Cubs game on Saturday and possibly the Sox game early Sunday afternoon depending on if we get really pickled saturday night.

My god was the pizza good when I visited Chicago in '09 (or was it '08?)

I'd say that alone is worth the trip.

If anyone has time and wants awesome burgers named after heavy metal bands (and Led Zeppelin) try Kuma's Corner, 2900 W Belmont Ave. Amazing food and atmosphere if you want to try somethung as little different.
