Before the match, even the fans sounded like they were mailing it in.
Toronto FC hosted Mexican high-flyers Pachuca Saturday evening, despite desperately needing a day off before Wednesday's crucial flight to Vancouver to fight for survival in CONCACAF Champions League qualifying.
Scalpers were reportedly settling for $20 for prime field-side seats – when they weren't picking squabbles with supporters or getting bundled into paddy wagons by the cops. The scalpers are rapidly becoming the Millwall of the lakeshore: nobody likes them, and they don't care.

Coming off a runner-up performance at the Peace Cup in South Korea, the match against the tried and tested Brazilians will determine where the women stand heading into the Beijing Games.
