enough is enough; take the intern responsible for continually grabbing this low-hanging fruit, put him or her into an oil drum and roll said drum into lake ontario

there is a person that draws a paycheck somewhere in the hierarchy of mlse that looks at these email titles and says "yes, good, i find this acceptable" and that fact infuriates me to no end

LOL, yeah, the TFC promotional emails take the use of cliches to a whole new level. I never bother reading them anymore.

In contrast, I just got the Argos e-mail (same thing as TFC does)...

Their Headline: Argos Look To Start 2-0 In Winnipeg Friday Night

I would MUCH RATHER see something simple and professional than a cheesy line...

What's extra stupid about these is that after a headline like that is written/distributed, implying that TFC will somehow menace another club, we almost invariably get crushed by said club and are left to cry in our beer.

I wouldn't mind the cheezy lines if they weren't trash talking. Really? Red Alert?

Red Alert! Red Alert! You have a chance at winning a game!

With Red Alert, it needs to come with an air raid siren when you open the e-mail! :)

I'd love see us be in a position to say " TFC looks to win 2 in a row on the road"
:D

i think my favouritest one was the "rub salt in their wounds" when we were away at rsl...really? really?are we really a "threat" to literally the best team in the mls? no.

god their emails annoy so much.

Should come with free copies of C&C Red Alert, Red Alert 2 and Red Alert 3.

Plus expansions.

The only problem Houston will have is deciding which stiffs they can put on the field and still beat us 3-0...

Yeah, that is pretty amusing. The guys who write these emails probably need to be told that these menacing headlines need to be earned, haha.

Yeah, I looked at that and thought, really? Huston should be worried about TFC? Why? Their guys may get tiered from running circles around us?

TFC FO marketting just kills me. The people in the marketting i bet probably arent even footy fans and really dont understand the footy culture in other countries and just do cheesy things they learned in college to have "NEW" and "EDGY" ideas....fucken a joke!

That's the whole problem - MLSE treats its e-mail headlines like it does everything else - like it's a fucking porn movie. Which exlpains why they are constantly fucking us all up the arse...
