Nuno Gomes officially released from Benfica
You guys can argue his ability or about his age but we cant argue his stats this season (all games which he didnt even start)
he was the most efficient player this past season with goals scored for minutes played
i know its wishful thinking but he defenetely still has one solid season left in him and his the kind of selfless player that can give the team that litte extra boost
probably one of the hardest working strikers i have every seen
since we arent doing anything with our dp money anyways
i say pay the man get him here and it might even get us a bit of out first season atmosphere back
at least fill some more seats!!!

He still managed 5 goals in 7 appearances this year (4 goals in 5 league appearances).

Doesn't matter. Like van Nistelrooy going to Malaga, Nuno Gomes still has plenty of suitors. Word is he'll likely sign with Braga.
