Kansas City's home opener tomorrow. Should be interesting to see that stadium

Columbus just came back to lead 2-1 late 2nd half. Though funny to see Mendoza steal Cunty's penalty kick

Yohan

And Mendoza got subbed off to boos from Crew supporters. hahahaha

Yohan

And the Crew wins 2-1. RSL looks very ordinary without Morales

And Greg Sutton just saved a PK...

2-1 right now. Henry made NE look very foolish on his goal, the proverbial jock-strap deke.

2-1 NYRB. Sutton had a good game. But boy is that NYRB defence shaky at times.

Good game overall

Eric Hassli. Tearing this league (and its players) apart!

Just got back in from watching that game because the pub didn't have GolTV. What a great fucking match.

Hassli. I fucking lament.

Hassli has already picked up 6 goals in 10 games for Vancouver. And if people were unaware, he is in fact a Designated Player and yes, this is the Whitecap's first season which should speak fucking volumes about any club's decision to not field a DP if the resources are available.

This guy almost single-handedly stole two points away from Seattle tonight and I fully expect he'll just get better as the season progresses.

Really pissed I couldn't watch the TFC match tonight, but the Sounder v Whitecaps game was still entertaining.

Fantastic volleys from Gordon and Hassli tonight. I still think Martina's strike is the goal of the year though...

Hassli's goal is quite possibly the nicest goal I have ever seen in the MLS. Right now I can't remember a better one. If it wasn't for Rooney's bicycle kick it's quite possibly the best I've seen this year in any league. There may have been better ones, I just didn't see them.

2 cool things about Gordon's goal I hadn't noticed:
- The ball doesn't touch the ground after it leaves Frei's foot.
- The way Gordon won the initial header, then spun and went into the box was beastly.

Not sure why, but Plata flying over the scrum during the goal celebration made me laugh hysterically.

4-1 SKC. Statement win on the road. I have a feeling that KC is going to do well next couple of weeks. Nice chip by Sassano for his goal too

Philly got robbed and should have been the ones to have the 3pts at home vs a competitive but lesser-on-the-day Salt Lake. Great 2 teams playing though. Nice to see Philly getting out to Chester for some good football.

Amazing 4-2 result from SJ at DC. I swear we need to get Lennhart just for Phonzo. Great hat trick though.

Colorado sneak away with another one. The so-called champs hammer away at Portland till they get a goal. Great stops by half the team before it actually went in the net.

That Vanny at Seattle game had to be the match of the week. Hassli was undeniable. What an eagle eye, pinpoint shot. Amazing 2-2 game must have been a treat for Vanny fans traveling.

Kansas was impressive in Dallas but the home team had a bad day at the office. Hartman well off the line to start the route on the third goal. The second goal caught the entire Dallas back line looking. I hate Shea but what an effort to dummy 3 players and slip it past. He seemed the only one to keep that game a contest.

Chicago moves past us in the standings with that win in Columbus but it keeps them both in reach. Chicago took so long to convert but deserved ithe only goal at the death of the match for all their efforts.
