Looks like Santos and Attakora are hurt. But Gordon is set to return.

Another interesting thing is that it looks like Duane Rollins' replacement for the TFC beat for MLS.com is Larry Millson, who was previously covering the Jays for MLB.com, but covered TFC for the Globe back in 2007. I think he was a long time baseball writer.

I wonder if the decision to replace Rollins has anything to do with the online pissing match he had with RPB supporters during the NCC Final.

I think this MLSSoccer.com article is misleading. Canada had the U.S.A. on their heels for most of the second half and could have easily walked away with a draw.

Any idea why Rollins was replaced?

Was it simply a case of the job he was doing? Or did antagonizing the fans have something to do with it?

Drunken tweeting while mentioning the Front Office and your Press Box, I think it was as simple as that. Shouldn't associate yourself with the team when you're slagging on other groups on twitter.

The SSG has been featured a number of times.

But can't complain.

Was just about to post something similar. Dominant? Laughable.

Peoples stupidity with twitter never fails to amaze me.

I agree Canada had a very good spell for a good chunk of the second half, however, I felt that if the US wanted to turn it up another level they could any time.

Within a day of the pissing match, Duane wrote an article saying that him and MLS had gone separate ways.

I don't think it's anything but that.

Kind of had an idea but the Toronto Sun's main football writer, Kurt Larson is an American.

Nothing wrong with it. Played football at Drake University for 4 years and kicked around the PDL.

Maybe TFC should sign him for the backline. LOL

For the record I do not know anything more than what Duane wrote himself on his blog. I for one don't have any reason to disbelieve what he said.

And its not my place to speculate, nor would I want to. That is between him and mlssoccer.com. All I was doing was confirming that Larry Millson is now writing for mlssoccer.com according to what he told me to my face last Friday at TFC training.

He didn't really say anything. So there isn't anything there to 'disbelieve'.

It would be quite the coincidence that he was fired days after his offending tweets and they had little to do with it.

In other headline news:

I saw Matt Gold going for a run today in Liberty Village. Classic. I also think I saw Peterson, but I'm sure I saw Gold. How can you miss that guy? Beauty.
