well it made me check the link....

and yes.
We are the orstteam

I love this team, but I HATE that our owners have built a team with a reputation as 'An Easy 3 Point'

I don't think anyone edited this.
Even "JuliandeGuzman" is a single word apparently.

Montreal has released its season ticket pricing for MLS in 2012:

http://www.montrealmls2012.com/stadesaputo.php

The south end equivalent is $350, but they have one section set for supporter's that will be $250.

Now here's a real debate, are we the orstteam in MLS history?

I think we've solidly broken the record for years without a playoff appearance.

A fair question. I think the discussion should begin with a list of possible contenders for orstteam in MLS history?

What other teams have sucked for extended periods of time?

I think New York, especially the MetroStars version, is where incompetence begins and ends.

Colorado in the fernando Clajvio years was pretty bad as well. RSL pre-Kreis was pretty bad too.

But i think we'll take the cake solidly if we don't make something happen next year. That hissing sound you're hearing is the air going out of the bottom line of the TFC balance sheet.

I don't know about the NY comparison. They were bad but not TFC bad. This was their first 5 years.

7th out of 10 in their inaugural season, 1996.
9th out of 10 in 1997.
6th out of 12 in 1998, including playoff action.
Last place in 1999.
3rd out of 12 in 2000, plus playoffs.

This is a much better start than TFC. And the next 5 years before they became RBNY?

6th out of 12 plus playoffs in 2001.
9th out of 10 after league contraction in 2002.
5th out of 10 in 2003 plus playoffs.
6th out of 10 in 2004 plus playoffs.
6th out of 12 in 2005 plus playoffs.

Poor? Yes. As bad as TFC? I disagree.

In any case, it's safe to say that TFC has been the worst expansion team in MLS history. The longest goal drought in season one followed by the longest active playoff drought would probably be enough to garner that distinction.

On the bright side folks, there's nowhere to go but up!

I've always disagreed with that cliché.

There is somewhere to go when you're at the bottom. And that is to stay at the bottom.

^ Well, it was a different league, right? But there's no doubt the change in ownership helped.

Still in a parity, salary cap league with teams rising and falling in the standings it's almost as much of an accomplishment to miss the playoffs every year as it is to make the playoffs every year...

I think it also has to do with the number of coaches they also went through from the start. And these were big name coaches.

And also the litany of former stars they tried to go through in those first 5 years.

It wasn't until Octavio Zambrano and Bob Bradley came in that they stabilized the team.

Naturally, after they hired Mo is when they started going back down again.
