I think that's correct. Apparently the Colorado team is officially referred to as their B Team.

Yeah nice I hear these kids will be the first ones that we'll be able to sign as the MLS doesn't allow us to sign these kids until they've been in the program for 2 years

We have a U-17 team?

Is that the same as TFC Academy? Or is the Academy actually the Reserve team? What the hell is going on?!

both the CSL team and this team are the academy, but the team in the CSL is U18, this is the U16 kids

And to make it slightly more confusing, the U16 Academy team plays in the CSL reserve league.

Why don't they celebrate when they score? That threw me off at first.

Not to get anyone excited, but there are some scouts from big clubs at this tournament (Real Madrid for one) If the boys play well and stand out, a group of 14-15 years olds are more attractive from a development standpoint than 15-16 year olds.

Right now, I think TFC should act as a gateway and ship players abroad like we usually do. MLS reserve league is so bad for development its laughable. 12 games a year is not going to help very much for players. If there is a gem in the TFC portfolio....I'm hoping TFC will do the right thing and let bigger clubs take them.

well the kiddies can leave at any time, so it's up to them.
TFC has no rights to keep any of these kids from going abroad. they are not contracted to TFC.
