Sign him as a DP. Then at least I can enjoy him braking opponents ankles, and arguing with the ref as he is being tossed out. I would like to see some of that passion in TFC red, we are missing it.

Haha, i was going to say that as a joke. Two games into an MLS career between the horrible officiating and the stagnant movement up front, and Gattuso's head would explode (literally).

I'd rather keep losing.

Everyone we have begged for hasn't really worked out...

JDG - complete and total bust... Better off without him...
Gerba - outta shape, not given much of a shot - gone...
Dero - best player, only goal scorer - we ran him out of town...

Right now, as poorly as Winter is doing with results - I'd rather let the management decide on new players...

Carts...

^ I did not want to say this, but I am not realy serious, just frustrated at defensive crapiness, and lack of passion, at least in defending.

[ he has signed another year for Milan, who are talking about a CL run, he is not leaving anywere]

Martin Saric is cheaper, Kevin Harmse is cheaper and non-international spot.

But he could contribute more then killing people in the midle.
Although Sarix and HArmse would at least punish people.

[I am not serious about this-it was a joke]

But I am serious that we are not TOUGH enough on defense. NO one is afraid of us.

When has any team ever been afraid of any part of our team?

Well maybe 2009 when we had a former MLS MVP and our franchises leading scorer, anyway...

^ We were at least physicaly tought at home, and tought to play against in that way. Now we do not have that either.

Can we also make Joe Jordan an assistant coach? That way he can kick Gattusso's ass whenever he gets annoying.

The timing on when those players were acquired is also interesting. Lots of rumours that the league had something to do with DeRo coming here, but they didn't do anything the first couple of seasons. Likewise, no DP in the first couple of seasons and even guys like Gerba (and Mista and a few others) really seemed like panic moves by guys knowing they were near the end of the line.

Let's hope that pattern isn't repeated over the next three years - struggle by with a makeshift line-up until management is near the end of their contracts and then panic moves to satisfy the fanbase.

Great idea, the only problem is he will miss half the games due to suspensions, LOL.

ugh, agreeing with trane about something.

we need a legbreaker in the d, someone who opponents would rather turn the ball over to rather than take a thump. we've seen glimpses of it from ecks and yourass, but not nearly enough.

i mean, if we're going to leak goals, we might as well see some blood, and make future teams a little more wary.

I would love to see Gattuso here, but I wouldn't wish MLS officials on even my worst enemy. Gattuso would do the old 1-game-played-3-games-suspended jig until his contract expired!

Gattuso is under contract with ACM till summer 2012 and hoping to get resigned till 2013 when he'll retire.
As much as I'd enjoy watching him beat the piss out of Conner Casey and completely break the will of Kenny Cooper he'd be miserable in this league and even more so on TFC.

^ Again I am not serious, I new Gattuso had just signed back up, and will retire in Rossonero.

We can do better than that....Gattuso is on his very last legs...how about we get rid of JDG and trade for another DP spot. Then sign Messi, Xabi and Iniesta. The rest of the players won't matter then.....

But Gattusso does? Anyway, it is all about results, this year, Spurs went through, Milan did not, next year we will see. Well may by the year after, if Spurs make it back to the CL anytime soon.
