Taylor Twellmann is really bad at colour commentating. He makes Dobbers look awesome

Attendance light in the midweek games. Reeeeeaaaly light for our game at Dallas, not surprising. But Vanc v SJ is half empty, thrill is gone already?

Ah well. Let's see if SJ vs Van provides more entertainment

Been more excitement in injury time in this game than there was in the entire TFC match. Vcr equalized late...again.

Good on Philly turning up against LA. They just waited trying to keep LA at bay and let LA make that one boner of a mistake and took their chance. Philly snuck away with the draw.

Vanny left it late to turn it on but what a great boot in from the wing to fool Busch to make the draw. SJ's goal just before the half was textbook and made Vanny look foolish but they couldn't keep that up for the win.

Anyone watching the Seattle Portland game? First non-TFC MLS game I was actually excited about in the lead up

I believe oregon doesn't allow self serve gas.

This is turning into a great game

^ yeah just found it

All stations in New Jersey (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Jersey) and Oregon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oregon) offer only full service and mini service; attendants (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gas_jockey) are required to pump gas because customers are barred by statutes in both states from pumping their own gas. New Jersey banned self-service gasoline in 1949 after lobbying by service station owners. Proponents of the ban cite safety and jobs as reasons to keep the ban.[15] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filling_station#cite_note-14) Likewise, the 1951 Oregon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oregon) statute banning self-service gasoline lists seventeen different justifications, including the flammability of gas, the risk of crime from customers leaving their car, the toxic fumes emitted by gasoline, and the jobs created by requiring mini service.[16] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filling_station#cite_note-15) In addition, the ban on self-service gasoline is seen as part of Oregonian culture. One commentator noted, “The joke is when babies are born in Oregon, the doctor slaps their bottom, ‘No self-serve and no sales tax’ [. . .] It’s as much a cultural issue as an economic issue. It’s a way of life.”[17] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filling_station#cite_note-16) In 1982, Oregon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oregon) voters rejected a ballot measure sponsored by the service station owners, which would have legalized self-service gas.[18] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filling_station#cite_note-17)

You also failed to mention Henry scored another one.
That's 5 in 4 games... he's on fire now.

Yep...and the turnarounds always seem to be other teams doing it timeframes Toronto fans consider undoable.

How about that Chivas win? Braun with the hat trick in NY! LAbrocca does well on the first goal. DeRo gets his first goal for NY on a penalty. whoopee.

Good on Portland to get a goal back in Seattle to come away with the draw. Made for a great start to the MLS edition of the Cascadia cup.

SJ at home bitchslap Columbus 3-nil with a great tip from Wondo to start things off. The Mcdonald card may have been fair but that Columbus cretin made a meal of a simple elbow away from play.

LA trounce KC 4-1 but take till the 30th to really start. Looks good on KC. Becks gets another goal from a free kick. Beautiful.

RSL at home looked less than average vs Houston. No goals in this one and it was a fair final.

Dallas win at home vs Philly. That floppy bastard Shea walks one in from Castillo who gets a much better goal in the second. Philly looked sloppy defensively from the first goal on.

NE win on a fair penalty over Vanny. Could've had another if a linesman got the call right. Oh MLS officials...

DC draw at home to Colorado. Terrible display for football. Officials got two giant calls wrong. A shame that the players couldn't decide the result themselves.

What time frames do Toronto fans consider undoable?

And what teams have turned it around in times Toronto fans consider undoable?

Just asking for the "facts" Roogsy ;)

Well there's the common belief on this board that somehow playoffs should not be expected. An odd belief since this team is still mostly comprised of players returning from last year, it's not a team entirely composed of new players as some teams are.

If you never set lofty expectations, you will never achieve greatness. Right now, people seem content with a team that can "pass the ball". Set poor expectations, get poor results.

Watched the 15 min short version of Seattle and Portland.

Fuck what an event. It looks like a different league than what's going on at BMO and most other pitches (not for a sake of trying on the supporters end of things, that's for sure).
