I'm glad that Santos isn't starting. Ever since Dero left and Santos became the captian he just doesn't look like he cares out there. Nice to see Borman and Gargan on the bench. A little concerned about Soolma. He was so bad in the opener.

All of a sudden we're really lacking in the striker department. I mean, it was never our best strength, but with Gordon out, and an underperforming Santos, we really don't have too many options.

We've really looked solid 20 minutes in. I'll take solid defensively with no goal scorers over 2-0 down already with some "close calls" for us up front.

I think Aron Winter has found a good lineup in this game. They're lined up similar to Barcelona. We just dont have the attacking midfield in Peterson and Tchani, but we definitely have a skilled playmaker in the middle playing behind the two strikers in Stavanovic.

If Stavanovic is able to play the full 90 minutes I wouldnt be surprised if we see him score two goals.

I was just thinking this exact same thought. Hopefully he keeps this lineup and gives them a string of starts to get used to playing with each other, with a DP striker in the mix later on it could be deadly.

So many that I can say that Plata penalty was the best TFC have ever scored based on power, run up, and placement.
