In what could have a major impact on our league, Real Salt Lake is 90 minutes away from a possible Club World Cup spot for the first time ever for MLS. Their match is at 10, right after TFC's.

^According to the NASL schedule

Yes. They do.

With capacity at 3500 it's not surprising they are optimistic Foote isn't big enough for tonight's match.

For those interested, PJ has a few words on the possibility of Heargraves coming to MLS - but sounds like he held back a bit on what he really thinks hahaha

Also talks RSL in the Champ League pretty good comparison to TFC in there.

I'm guessing TFC don't come out of that all too well.

Haha well nothing super harsh just compares Kreis' method of signing players to Mo's, which he called "catalogue shopping for players".

Based on the tickets you can get at Ticketmaster, I think they would have been better off jamming 4,000 into a 3,500 stadium - have a rockin' environment, over playing in front of 40,000 empty seats...

I guess they want the revenue, but I don't think it does them any favours to draw 10,000 or even 15,000 to be a cavernous, quiet, empty-looking stadium...

Jam pack your home venue, show people who don't have tickets what it can be like - and you can convert or gain fans. Bring someone out to see 10's of thousands of empty seats - and people think "why would I get seasons to this?" even when they know they play elsewhere...
