Hi y'all. I'm driving down for tomorrows game... 416... 401... Don Valley....
Any travel advisories for me??
I got an e-mail warning parking at Exhibition could be tricky. Anything else?

Last time I was down for a game the subway lines were a bit snafu.
Any worries for anyone "traveling" to the game tomorrow?

TIA for any info you can provide.

I'm not aware of any road closures, but, traffic could be a little messy, as it always is in the GTA. I say that you can take your usual route, down the Don Valley, just leave plenty of extra time for delays and such.

Mark park near Joe and walk down is a lot easier

Why not park at the Oshawa or Whitby GO station and take the train in? Brings you right into the EX and you get an hour to sober up a little after the game.

Most people don't condone drinking and driving haha.

But the part about the GO alternative... good idea.

Agreed. Taking the GO from the East end is probably the best thing to do. Taking the GO after a win with a bunch of crazy, tipsy TFC fans is always a lot of fun.

Lol. Yeah, not condoning it.....but, if you tell me you don't have a pint I'd be surprised....but I don't know you personally so who knows.

p.s. Upstairs, 3rd car from the front is the usual RPB meeting place.

I often park @ the Whitby Station and take the train in.
The only drawback is that if it is a wet session (By that I mean raining all game) it is nice to be able to change into dry clothing right after the game.

Thanks for the advice and comments. See you all tomorrow.

Most important travel advisory for tomorrow: make sure your windshield wipers work. :(

No closures tomorrow, but this might help you for future road trips this summer.

They also keep it updated as new closures are announced.

Aside: As we passed the Oshawa GO Station Saturday night, we noticed at least 5 cop cruisers there.

You weren't getting off at Oshawa were you Mark?

Nope... I snuck off @ Whitby . All was quiet.

We did get checked though by the transit police for tickets.
There was one guy in my car without one... they stepped away for "a chat" :(.
