they've found out MLS isn't THAT easy.
10 goals against in their first 5 games.
TFC had 11 goals against in their first 5 games in 2007 (and that included only 1 home game, not 3).
of course their offense is much better than that goalless 2007 team.

With the playoff format of only 2 GUARANTEED spots per division, it doesn't really matter...unless you think we can finish in the top 2....NO CHANCE....

Wow only 2 stories today, I guess MLS hasn't forced the players to allow the media into their homes yet.

Bones...

Anyone else "heard rumblings of a couple of signings"?

i've heard nada - i'd love it if we signed a bonafide CB and a DP AM - that's what i think is most pressing - or a RB

It's funny seeing people regret the Cronin trade. I distrinctly remember a minority of people saying we'd be sorry with many others saying they were perfectly happy to see him gone. It's a pattern with us.

on that note. white's starting to score for seattle.

don't think we need to worry about joseph nane though.
from a rapids blog, after he started his first game for them this weekend.

GOAT OF THE MATCH: Joesph Nane. Oh my god, that was horrendous. I don't think I've seen a more tentative, nervous and all around untalented performance out of a Rapids player in years. If he is going to be starting for any length of time, we are in deep trouble.

DC fielded 3 academy guys and broke a record...
a) didn't we have Morgan, Stinson and Henry on at one time last season?
b) as the youngest team in the league, I feel we are OBLIGATED to crush this record ASAP. :D

Did we just cut him? Or did anything come back to us?

we just waived him. so unless mls rules give something to clubs when waived players get picked up, we got nothing other than the benefit of not having to pay him any more.

Sorry, but you are wrong. Joseph Nane was traded to Colorado for a 3rd round draft pick:

Toronto FC announced Tuesday they have acquired a natural third round selection in the 2012 MLS SuperDraft from Colorado Rapids in exchange for midfielder Joseph Nane.
