The goal was world class, and the most beautiful strike I've ever witnessed at BMO Field. Martina deserves the honor without question.

Dichio's turning volley for last kick of the game in 07 vs NE?

Dichio's last goal of the season was incredible, and Pappa has a monster touch in this week;s goal, but gotta give it to Martina for the hustle, patience and technique.

I think think that Dichio's season ending goal was THE best ever scored at BMO.

*people ahead of me saying the same thing.

that goal was a close to THIS as we will ever see at BMO.

I agree, I don't see how he can't win.

I think Wondo's goal was better than Pappa's. I don't think either of them were as good as Martina tho.

Nicest goal at the stadium and by TFC. Dichio's had excitement with the surrounding circumstances, but Martina was world-class.

Getting to hear Robbie Earl describe the goal on the replay pushes it over the top for me.

Makes me wish i was was watching the Portland stream from the outset.

I agree that dichio's beaut vs NE as the best scored at BMO. I would still love to know what Dichio yelled to Ries right after he scored it.

Dichio's goal was also spectacular, but it ranks 2nd in my opinion because Martina's goal was on the run, and required more skill and coordination.

Why I love this goal? In one camera angle, you can see me try and "nod" the ball in with my head, and then go nuts as it goes in off the post. Love it.

Sad that I wasn't there to witness Martina's goal this week :(, but all the talk of overlapping runs by fullbacks hopefully we can witness a goal like this one day at BMO.

LOL Just throwing it up because it's the best I've ever witnessed. LOL Larsson's other goal in that match was pretty good too.

Don't we have a history of losing tight races in the goal of the week... As much as it should win, I have a feeling it won't.

very true
pappa is a bigger name so people might just vote for him which is sad

so people that dont decide who they think should win based on how good the goal is will vote for Papa and not the best goal of the week and its clearly MArtina

Martina made team of the week

wow nice other than his goals he did play goo too he was always open
made good passes, made some good moves to beat defenders and he even went back to help on defence

Most of the game while watching I seen him get open and he also did little things to win free kicks, throw ins and create space for him self just wait till the team gels and Martina starts to make his nice touches to teammates like he did in videos.

He will for sure make it hard for defence to play vs him because of his skill on the ball and good play making skills.

For a young guy, coming here to prove himself and get his career on track - scoring a pair, making the top-11, and being nominated for goal of the week will only help his confidence...

That right there is bigger than winning GOW etc...

Shake the nerves off, boost the confidence, give him the boost to be creative and work hard - and this 2-goal game could be much bigger than the 3pts it earned us...

Dichio's turning volley for last kick of the game in 07 vs NE?

Stunner. Certainly the most emotional goal. First ever brought much joy, but tempered by a sense of 'finally!'

That last one brought the house down, sparked the flash mob at midfield.

I still have a fondness for Dichio's goal against Colorado, when Ronnie O'Brien lobbed a gorgeous, backspun pass ahead of an overlapping Marvell Wynne. Wynne controls, nutmegs a defender to reach the side of the box, lashes in a waist-high cross inside the six and an on-rushing Dichio uses his upper leg to volley it into the roof of the north end goal.

Passing, dribbling, hard-nosed finish - had it all.

It's funny when you put this into context with Chad Barret's whine that he never got any service. I guarantee that ball would have gone into 115 row 10 if it were last year.

I have to agree Pappa dribbles through the entire back line all within ten feet of each other.

I liked the RSL goal where Beckham is just standing there off goes the RSL player boom in the net. Good effort DP.

Well last year there was so much drama with the goal of the week voting because of flaws in their system and also people hacking it on a number of occasions. (Seattle and NY fans.) So I'm pretty sure it has something to do with that.
