The article title says Its Not All Bad for TFC yet there is not one positive thing in the article other than support.

Yes...let's hope we don't become the first team in MLS history to lose to two expansion teams back-to-back.

Portland looked like an expansion team on the weekend... if we lose on Saturday inside the fortress against a bad team I'll be very dissapointed.

Looks like it will be a chilly one too. A balmy 0 degrees celcius on Saturday. Drink up people :drinking:.

And Vancouver matched that on Saturday, with a sold-out crowd of 22,000 fans chanting and cheering and waving scarves and screaming “The Leafs suck!”

Have we ever started a chant referring to Hockey? I don't think so. Why would fans chant "The Leafs suck!" when they could chant "TFC suck" with complete justification?

hmmmm, colder than MLS Cup... and that was very cold. This could be the coldest weather we've ever had at BMO.

Spring weather should be here by now. ugh

Washrooms are not heated...
Plumbing doesn't like the cold.

Could be interesting at BMO.

Lines are bad now...what if they need to bring in port-o-lets?

LOL, because despite the fact that they held the Olympics, Vancouverites still suffer from a serious inferiority complex in this Country. :D

Home opener against Seattle 2 seasons ago had to have been worse

Oddly enough, I don't remember it being all that bad. Then again, given the amount of booze I had consumed beforehand, I was likely feeling pretty warm.

Home opener against Seattle 2 seasons ago had to have been worse

if only because of that Fat Bastard Drew Carey sticking his fat face out the window, shoving pies into his gob, spewing pastry crumbs onto the seats below and wagging his fat little fingers about.

In my opinion, the worst weather is when the temperature is close to 30 Celsius or higher. 0 degrees and sunny ...bring it on. Perfect weather - just dress warm.

Around 300,000.

Which is pretty good.

And makes the move of 21 TFC games to Gol TV look even dumber.

WOW, that is already considerably higher than the average CBC broadcast last season, and it was going head to head with Hockey Night In Canada. Very impressive...

Keep in mind there were two canadian markets to watch, not just Toronto. I think those numbers will dip a lot once TFC plays teams like Sporting Kansas in the middle of the summer.

Two Canadian teams playing against each other = great TV ratings (soccer wise). It will be interesting to see the ratings when a Canadian team play against US team.

being the second game in the season our ratings will remain the same, itll be interesting to see what the white caps are. its a matter of what they do with the soccer, preshows and awareness that is going to draw more players in the future. might take a season before we see a difference.
