Your 2011 TFC Starting 11?

Now that training camp is winding down and the real stuff starts next week what is your starting 11? I personally don't have a clue but here goes:

Looking at some of these on here.... if they can gel and play what Winter wants it does not seem to bad. We really have not seen anything close to these lineups in preseason so far.

I see Omphroy starting in the reserve league at the beginning - just hasn't been getting the minutes in preseason.

This assumes JDG and Bouchiba are still injured. Since Martina can play both sides, I think we are looking for a starting RB, a starting LW, and a starting ST.

With the players we have, and the style were 'told' they want to play - I like this formation alot...

I don't like pushing Dero out to the wing - I know we need some width, but I'd rather see him involved more in the central role...

whats scaring me is dero in the middle in all these lineups. hes skilled to the point of deserving a generals role in the middle, and this might make all his mad wandering less damaging...but if he spends the second half of the game hanging around maicon like hes the 4th striker i will get annoyed.

i might prefer him on the outside honestly.

Let's hope we get a couple of more starters back over the next couple of weeks.

Bouchiba will possibly start in place of JDG against Vancouver. We need at least one of those two in there.

I'd almost prefer Harden in the centre with Nana playing his natural spot. But we'll see how he evolves at centreback moving the ball this year.

According to the article in the news thread, this is close to the starting 11...

The indication was that the starting team against United would be close to the team to trot out against the Whitecaps next weekend. In that case, Stefan Frei would be taking his normal spot in goal, while Yourassowsky, Ty Harden, Nana Attokora, and Dan Gargan would be playing in defense. The midfield would consist of Nathan Sturgis, Oscar Cordon and De Rosario, while the forwards would be Jacob Peterson, Gianluca Zavarise, and Maicon Santos.

I can't imagine we would start Peterson over Martina. Or Harden over Cann. Or Cordon over Bouchiba. For my money this is the lineup I would put out for Vancouver (If JDG is not healthy and if Bouchiba is healthy).
