With the Carolina Challenge Cup now just four days away from kickoff I thought we could look back at some of the names that graced the field or got close to it for the Reds.

Remember Big Mo's so-called Columbian saviours from three years back, midfielder Victor Pacheco and striker Leonardo Pole. If I remember correctly one only last 45 minutes and the other only saw action in a reserve game before JC deemed them not worthy of wearing the Red. Oh those we the days, whatever became of those two Mo thought so much of.

I really liked Kevin Gall when he played in this competition for Toronto. He looked like a bright prospect and I was sad that we never signed him. Unfortunately, he's been wallowing in the lower leagues in Britain for a while now, never really having his career take off.

That CBC article made me LOL a few times with "Mo's vision" and "the addition of tough-tackling Canadian Kevin Harmse" to save the day.

To be fair: Robert was the best place-kicker we've had OUTSIDE the box...

Inside clearly de-ro, but outside i'd rank it:

1 - Robert
2 - Amado
3 - Velez ......... hahaha okay I keeeed I keeeeeed!
.... yea lets just mention two

Robert never showed up to play. He never gave the club a chance and from I understand, playing with him on the pitch (when he was here) was like playing with 10 men (or worse - because you change shape to account for only 10 men)

I still remember Esky's goal in the first one.
It was a great goal.

So... is anyone bringing a laptop to Joe's this Saturday and putting the feed up on the big screen?
It's tradition!

^ there's a 7:00pm leafs game, so probably not.

I'm pretty sure that the 'forums chat' will be open, and we can watch at home while nerding out online.
