The first tangible benefit membership will offer is the opportunity for complimentary tickets to road matches. Initially, we’ll buy 50 per match with the hopes of there being a much higher demand – it would be great if we had that many members interested in traveling to support our club. Due to close proximity, as well as the strong desire to provide as much support for the team as possible during the season-opening road trip, we are purchasing up to 300 tickets for the Chicago Fire match on March 26.

What kind of supporters club is this, why would the TFC not give us free tickets on the road.

Different market. TFC fans already travel and organize everything themselves.

I'd love for TFC to pony up the bit of cash to at least cover the cost of tickets for fans traveling to location that are far away (Vancouver, Portland, LA, etc.).

I'm all for free tickets but he flip-side is, if your traveling on TFC's dime, you travel under their rules. Not sure that's worth the $25 - $35.

If we are slowly going to become under the vice of league-wide rules anyway, it would be nice to save the extra $20 as a gesture.

Why would they... more like Columbus should give us free tickets for the road!

KC is trying to develop a culture... that we already have.

On a side note, KC was the best road trip I have ever taken... and I'm looking to hopefully go again this year.

^ Plus the special situation that KC is playing most of the first half of the season away. This may be a bit of an attempt to build some supporters vibe in the absence of home games.
