They were not around last year. I think the group just died, like the Ultras 114.

As far as I know there are still fans that watch the games at the Celidh House bar. But yeah there seems to be a lack of organization. I would join them if they started up again.

Most of those guys were still in their seats on the west aisle of 115, row 17 or 18

They still wear their scarves.

Oh those are those guys? Or are they? I sit right behind the east goal post in that row. That their area?

They had some pretty good exposure early on with player appearances at the pub, involvement in the road trips etc, wonder what happened. It kinds of makes you think what it would take for another supporters group to rise and gain official status. Kind of makes you think what the Yorkies could become, they website is updated alot, saw some guys with their scarves back in '08 and not much else after that.

I was just wondering about them the other day as well. When you think about it, there have been a raft of small groups over the past few years that have just sorta sprung up and are now defunct. Are the Yorkies still active as well?

Well the Yorkies website seems to updated on a regular basis, do not know what that mean in terms what the group is doing outside of the cyber world but a few seems to be kicking around too.

The one thing with the Hoolies is that they have/had a bar behind it with full support including offering to be bring the RPB down to Hamilton on a bus to watch a road game their. Also they had player appearances at the bar and seemed to have a good foundation.

They probably blame soccer for the recession.

What kind of Irish pub doesn't show football? Plastic Paddies, don't know what they're doin!

I assure you The Yorkies are alive and well. We're a (very) small group that sits mid 113 but we gab a lot. It's our thing.

Thanks for the kind words. The blog is our idea of the TFC Fanzine.

I could never fathom our group being of "official" status. I don't think that's something we'd ever want (plus we'd be thrown out after our first meeting).

We'll be there for the opening kickoff and thereafter. Footie is a drug for us.
