Alot of repetitive stories today. I like that we're giving Eddy Sidra a chance, I've only read about him being signed to Energie Cottbus, but I've never seen him play. If at all I think he's the only player I would like TFC to sign regardless, mainly because he's a Canadian and he's a defender.

I just got one question, does he play left back? If he can, maybe we should finally get rid of Ty Harden.

Plays on the left according to this.

Playing as a left back he carried the ball from essentially one end of the pitch to the other while displaying game-changing pace and winning a free kick just outside the box after the last Venezuelan defender had to foul him to prevent him from having a clear path to the goal. Canada scored on the resulting free kick and earned an important draw in South America.

Don't get angry, but Sidra is a right-sided player who, manifestly, can play on the left (even if all his touches in that famous run you linked to are with the right, which is merely incidental). He came into that game for Kluko, the right side being manned by Stalteri, the skipper. There's a lot of rightsidedness being brought in, hopefully it balances out a bit. I hope Omphroy can assert himself at right back and Eddy can do the same on the other side!
