SSG: Not bad:drinking:#6 has to be the best one.

Attiba: Boooyah!

Garcia: Big ups to whoever started the thread, "Garcia threatens to return to TFC". The thread headline says everything I was thinking about Garcia returning at a lower price.

Now if we can only get rid of Ty Harden, I don't see why you guys like this guy and you hated on someone like Marco Velez. Ty Harden is just slow in all of his movements.

SHUTOUT IN U-20 Match: That was expected, but I'm glad to see that Stillo is getting some starts for Canada. It would be crucial to have him start in the World Cup Qualifying Round 2, before the group stage, for Canada and spend the rest of the callups on the bench.

Another day, another bizarre/sad MLSE governance anecdote.

Yesterday it was Cochrane discussing his own authority. Today, from a story about Sam Mitchell's return:

http://www.theglobeandmail.com/sports/basketball/raptors-give-sam-mitchell-rude-welcome/article1843335/
“I was a young coach and I was very emotional at the time. And a lot of times I didn’t think things trough clearly before it came out of my mouth,” he said. “I thought it was kind-of amusing at the time, and then when [MLSE chairman and part-owner Larry Tanenbaum] and [outgoing CEO of MLSE] Richard Petty would call me in their office, and kinda get on me about it, I didn’t think it was so funny then.”

Excuse me? Tanenbaum and/or Peddie should have been calling the GM about something like this and have him deal with it, not dealing with it directly.

Sigh.

Come one. You can't be surprised though . especially in light of the lip sync Peddie did a couple of years back.

I'm glad I wasnt the only one who saw that interview, I dont remember if I saw it on TSN or The Score, but seemed their were some similarities with his experience on the Raptors and the feedback from previous coaches on TFC.

Sam Mitchell and John Carver, would have had similar careers IMO with MLSE teams.
