We should ask to host it in January, we can build lego style stadiums that are outdoors but heated. We'll base the games in Moose Factory and we can shuttle fans. No biggie. As long as the cheque clears we'll be set.



seriously though, next time there should be a joint US/Canadian bid. North East or North West. Either base around Portland/Seattle/Vancouver, stretching down to California and east to Alberta/Utah or a Toronto-Montreal-Boston-New York-Philly-Pitt-Chicago type bid. I actually quite like either.

I highly doubt USA want to share WC with us, and I highly doubt FIFA would want to reward world cup to two nations again. I personally think Canada has a better chance of hosting WC than USA if Canada has a plan to build stadiums and have league of their own. Canada never hosted the world cup, but other FIFA events (like U-20 World Cup) Canada hosted has been very successful. Also, never hosting world cup gives Canada advantage over USA who has hosted the games in the past.
