Sorry for a dumb 75MB question -
Are non-TFC MLS matches televised in Canada?
I was going to make an assertion on Big Soccer about this issue but realized I didn't really know.

Once a week on a channel few get. Unfortunately GolTV is underappreciated. It's cheap, and provides good matches to watch. Commentary and presentation are a bit weak.
Most Canadians don't get to watch MLS outside of TFC, and most TFC fans couldn't tell you the difference between Chad Marshall and Tyrone Marshall.

And there was 'teh final' which they put on TSN 2, another channel no-one gets.

Not really...Shaw has it as part of their basic digital package. You get a cable box, you get TSN2.

If you get NBC Seattle you can watch a few Sounders games there.

CBC are planning to do a soccer day every week once Montreal enter the league.

Yeah but I don't get digital, and considering people like me are the regular fanbase...

The only out of market games i saw on gol were after the fact or repeats!!! didnt get to catch many live games
I think the coverage will change over time as more stars and the league grows. There has been tremendous growth in coverage.
If the CBC lose the Leafs, I could see them going heavy after TFC. In fact they should try to get Soccer Night In Canada going with a Saturday night summer soccer match. That would be awesome.

My son told me he just watched matches on the internet. I expect there were a few MLS games amoung the ones he watched.
As previously stated the only GolTV games I saw were not live events but were at least available at little cost.

Thankyou! Mr. Horton is making great strides in improving our country. He is pushing for us to adopt the american '24 hour' clock and abbandon our 20 hour one.

Poutine had supported Bush, it was Mr Horton that had the speech at the igloo :P
