Congrtats to all teh visisting fans, it was chilly, but it was a great final.
Meeting the supporters and hosting them was a grat exoperience. .
especially for the RApids fans who really gave it their all at Joes on Sat night, creating quite a sense of occassion..

Happy that the Cup went to them and not Dallas.

I wonder.
if TFC ever make it to a final. . . how many travelling fans do you think we woudl bring?
100?
1000?

MLS should definitely respect the FIFA calendar as far as international matches but conforming to the European schedule would be deterimental to the attendance for several clubs in the league...

...including ours. It just won't work here. If they thought they had attendance issues before. I am hoping they are too smart to move to that kind of schedule. Garber was very specific when he said they would commit to looking at it. Don't think it will ever happen unless all the northern teams get retractable domes....we only got more bathrooms because the Food Building was next door.

I was thinking that myself at the game.

You know our 'north stand' where they fit both the Rapids and Dallas away support, and like 1000 random people and empty seats? We'd fill it, I'm sure of it. At any stadium in the league.

And it's possible that there will be an MLS final in Montreal in the next few years - if TFC played in that, how many people do you think would go?

They'd need the Big O to fit everyone who would go.

lots of people would go who aren't even interesting in MLS or the sport, if only to be part of something huge

SSG: She's like a cross between Cameron Diaz, Britney Spears and my girl next door, Elisha Cuthbert.:hump:

MLS Final: I dont know why they didnt book the Skydome for MLS Finals. Im sure indoors people would have filled the stadium. If in the future the MLS Final is in Montreal I'm 100% sure it will be in Olympic Stadium.
