Thanks D.

Hmmm... No Beckham in the final... so are people going to dump tickets?

"Welcome to the MLS championship match... or as the TFC fans call it... The Battle of the former TFC Strikers".

LOL! Oh man, we may see many empty seats at BMO Field. MLS could not have asked for a more difficult match to market. Dallas can't even fill their own stadium let alone send up fans and the same can almost be said about Colorado.

Wynne wants Ron Burgundy at BMO Field? I'm sure he'd call a great game.

I have 0 interest in this game now. I will still go, but I'm expecting the most boring game ever! I really hope I'm wrong.

This may be the only time in my life that I get to see a championship trophy lifted at a maple leaf sports and entertainment event - so I'm going.

Dallas v Colorado, in Canada. That's not an easy sell.

Estimates on Final attendance??? I'm saying the League will post 18,000...but the actual attendance will be around 13,000....lots of no shows...if the weather turns bad it could be 10,000....LOL!

I was just thinking that if the Raps wear burgundy, they win, powder blue they lose. Then i see the headline... but not what I expected.

I hope the Rapids win, however I would love to see Cunningham score 7 goals this game to piss a few people off. :D

The most boring game ever? why because pretty beckycakes isn't walking around in his underwear? Dude, FC Dallas has been by far the most entertaining team this year. They just walked all over LA with flare and class and you think they'll bring a boring game to BMO field?

We can't catch a break. The one thing that kept our hopes up was an LA-NY final and at least one of the two. We get nothing and we get two teams no one gives a shit about. Could be worse though .... it could be Columbus-SJ!

When life gives you lemons ....

why do you think it would be boring?

Colorado and Dallas don't play a boring style. And it's a winner take all match.

I actually think it'll be a pretty cracking game, with Casey pounding defenders, Cummins streaking downfield on the counter attack, Ferreira making sneaky passes, Hartman making great saves.

All the MLS Cups I've watched since 2007 have been solid matches, better than usual.

Then I guess my wish of "I hope I'm wrong" will come true!

I don't follow the MLS, plain and simple. I don't get excited to watch teams that are not TFC play. Actually I don't watch any other team in the league period. The only time I've even watched either of these teams was against Toronto and they were pretty boring games. I understand TFC may have made those games a bore to watch, but still, that's my only experience I have to draw from.

I only cared to watch LA and NY because of names on those team. I can admit to that. Actually I wouldn't have minded a Real Salt Lake, San Jose or Seattle to be in the final. Real is the fun team to watch, Sigi's Seattle is pretty decent to watch as well. And I'm a Cronin fan so San Jose would be ok with me as well.

As for the two teams playing this weekend, as I said before I have no interest what-so-ever. I don't care about either city, they probably will only send 10-15 fans total so there will be no soundtrack to watch the game to...Conor Casey you say? The return of Cunningham? Again, I could care less about either.

I hope you are right with saying that they are entertaining to watch.

Dallas and Colorado are definitely two of the 3 (5?) teams that make you say roll your eyes in terms of the bling factor that we might have seen in this game. Throw in Chivas and KC, you really are left wanting more, no matter how good of a team they are. They aren't rivals, they don't have the mega names, they don't have "elite" cities, they don't have the history (in a big way like LA, DC, etc...).

Go figure that our finals will be #5 vs #7, with teams we care absolutely nothing about.

Looking at the list of 8 teams that made the playoffs, Dallas and Colorado are the two teams that I had the least desire to pay attention to.

1)NY 2)LA 3)SEA 4)CLB 5)RSL 6)SJ 7)COL 8)DAL

MLS Final. Dallas vs. Colorado. In Toronto. At Night. In November.

Ninety minutes of silence.

Years of embarassment for MLS.

Well if it's silent, MLS can say that they worked hard with the supporters groups and MLSE to replicate the atmosphere of Dallas and Colorado home games.

Agreed, FCD has done quite well. I thought they were junk for a while but it turns out they actually know what they are doing.

Not the most sexy matchup but it's decent.

Neither team has a shirt sponsor either...
Think that'll change next season?? :p

I am upset that LA didn't make it, but there defence last night was horrible and Dallas earned it. At least a trophy will be lifted in Toronto...
