RSL and the KKKrew will play each other in the next round of the CCL.

This draw greatly increases the odds of at least one MLS team making it to the final.

South American ball is the model we shoudl follow, its much closer to MLS. . NOT European ball.. . .
MLS is comacxt, 1-2 touch midfield then long pass, hold, cross.. . its the formula for most of the goals score3d here. .

I hope Kilinnmann realizes this. .

Don Garber: 'This league is healthy'discusses a lot of issues, including the Superliga:

http://www.socceramerica.com/article/40217/don-garber-this-league-is-healthy.html

One interesting question:

SA: On the business side, how many teams will turn a profit this season?

GARBER: I say this every time I talk to you: We have a lot of teams that are performing very well financially, and there are others that aren’t. But some of them that aren’t, it isn’t because they aren’t driving revenue, it might be that they have different goals and objectives. The quote "But some of them that aren’t, it might be that they have different goals and objectives" may refer to New York... they can spend into deficit because the whole club exists as a marketing write-off for Red Bull.

Hi Guys,

I thought the MLS Cup Final was supposed to be on CBC, did anyone hear this. Can someone ask John Molinaro if CBC was planning on showing the final.

Thanks

ABC/ESPN has had it the past couple of years which is why I assume like Sidvan says, TSN is able to broadcast it.

I think it's 408 or 409, somewhere around there anyway.

EDIT: I just checked and TSN2 is channel 407 on Rogers Digital Cable

Kinda sad actually.
Here we have Sportsnet supporting the MLS for a while and we get the biggest game of the MLS season, to be broadcast from Toronto, on a secondary sports channel that doesn't supports NA soccer much.
Having it on TSN2 or Sportnet1 is pretty much almost not having it broadcast at all.

Small victory. Better TSN 2 than GolTV. This league is growing and it is growing in Canada. Wait till the Whitecaps and Impact join the league. Sportsnet and TSN will be showing highlights for 3 teams. NO MORE GOLF HIGHLIGHTS PLEASE!!!

Why is it sad? In Canada, UEFA Champions League sometimes got relegated to TSN2 as well. MLS sold the broadcast rights in the US and it has obviously influenced the broadcast this year. That's business. Dunno why we should be complaining about it.

I would have liked to see it on Sportsnet. They have nothing in late Nov., while TSN has NFL commitments.
But yes, better than nothing, but its regulated to the back pages in essence.

Welcome to soccer in Canada. Were you expecting Hockey Night in Canada treatment?

Maybe this means there will be regular season MLS games next year on TSN. With Bell partnered up with the Whitecaps, that might make sense.

I think it's that the game's on or being produced by EPSN, and TSN is partnered and partially owned by them.
